Before using any product or ingredient you are unfamiliar with, find out its medicinal properties. Research it thoroughly and/or consult with an appropriately qualified veterinarian or expert. If dispensing of prescription drugs, or a medical condition is involved, check with an appropriately qualified veterinarian beforehand.   Please be aware a small amount working well does NOT mean that more is better. All animals have different and unique physiologies and body mechanisms. Information presented on the website are only guidelines. It does not include an exhaustive or comprehensive list of possible interactions and contraindications with prescription medicine. Always discuss this possibility with your veterinarian.

Use of Supplements and Surgery
It is important to fully inform your veterinarian about the supplements being taken, especially before elective surgery. You may be asked to stop providing these products for your pet/animal at least 2-3 weeks ahead of the procedure to avoid a supplement/drug that could adversely affect the outcome of the surgery.
